THE second round of the District Fours was played at Jindabyne last week and after a very cold start, the weather turned into a nice sunny day, which made it very pleasant out on the green.
The score in most games was not indicative of the play, and it was a pity there had to be a loser.
One game was equal on the last end, this game had see-sawed all the way.
The results were as follows, skips only: M Murphy defeated K Ryan, L Snell defeated L McMahon, A Gammon defeated V Clarke, D Turner defeated G Daal.
This week is the semi final where four clubs are represented, which is great to see.
The following teams will meet in what promises to be a great day's bowls: B Cooper, G Caldwell, R Blyton, M Murphy (Nimmitabel) versus L West, M D'Amico, D Jackson, L Snell (Cooma); B Corby, K Sach, M Siddle, A Gammon (Coolamatong) versus L Morgan, D Jenkinson, M Mugridge, D Turner (Jindabyne); morning tea at 9am and play at 9.30am.
