Non- stop dance

27/11/2008 4:52:00 PM
It was non-stop dance at Miss Jenny's end of year dance show.

Over 100 students combined to show off their skills in many different forms of dance along with the show group from Monaro Dance.

The show was popular too with over 300 parents, grand parents and friends packed into the Jindabyne Memorial Hall on Saturday afternoon.

Miss Jenny has tapped into a deep well of enthusiasm for hip-hop dance and her classes at Jindabyne Central School gym and the Memorial Hall are proving increasingly popular for not only hip hop but ballet and tap too.

Miss Jenny said that she was overwhelmed with the support from everyone and particularly hard working parents involved in the show itself.

In the meantime dance students left for Sydney Entertainment Centre, yesterday in preparation for the Schools Spectacular taking place this weekend.

16/12/2008 | So we now have desperate parents attempting to bribe teachers to get their children into a selective high school. What a sad indictment of our education policies, the holy grail of which is parental choice.
