"WINE and dine and go online at Goulburn" may be the marketing pitch for an idea The Goulburn Group (TGG) is pitching to hook up the city's CBD to wireless internet.
Three months under development, the concept started by group member Urs Walterlin and developed by local website designer Gary Anson, is designed to make Goulburn the first "free wireless city in Australia."
"The reason we are doing this is to cover the whole business area and to make the Internet as free and available as possible," Mr Walterlin said.
"The most important point is that it's free and showing the world that Goulburn is open for business."
