This group will begin to rebuild the former Youth Council (Snowy Mountains Teens) that has been in recession for the past 12 months.
Everyone between the ages of 12-24 is encouraged to attend and bring along their ideas on what is needed for young people living in the shire.
Monaro Rural Youth Health Worker, Angie Corcoran said: "We've received many great ideas voiced by young people in this shire. I am hoping as a result of this gathering on November 21, that we will be able to develop a practical framework for taking action, with the support of Snowy River Shire Council, Snowy Mountains Neighbourhood Centre, and local church and community organisations.
"Every young person I know feels passionate about something and all that is often needed to make a difference, are the resources, skills and knowledge to act on those things, Mrs Corcoran said.
Another meeting is planned before the end of the year, to help keep the momentum going.
Also, transport home from the meeting, can be arranged with notice; just contact Angie. Parents are welcome to contact Angie as well.
